Reclaimed Vintage is my way of giving garments a second life. Sourced and curated with a vision of how the garment will look after I am done with it.
Silk Bermudas
probably from the late 80‘s to early 90‘s 
Dyed in two session in Indigo blue and dark grey/black.
High waist cut with a semi-elastic waistband, two side pockets and belt loops that fit up to 4cm wide belts. 
Closed with 2 buttons and a zip. Zip in excellent condition.
Back pocket with a flap + button. 
Size 36/S
Waist (non-stretched) 70cm - can maximally be worn by a 76cm waist
Length: 51,5cm at the front / 53cm at the back
No loss of colour- can be washed at medium heat - low tumbling recommended. If possible dry on a hangef without tumbling- it helps the textile go last longer.
Textiles and garments deserve to be valued and taken care of.
Upcycling is a revolutionary act.
We need to move away from fast fashion, that is made to be worn only a short ammount of time, before it gets damaged and ends up in landfills.

Vintage items were made at a time where the production process was slower and more detailed, textiles were precious and clothing was made to last a lifetime. The items I curate to be dyed are hand-picked and tested for quality. I mostly work with silk.
